Kavya Madhavan - Mammootty together in Ee Pattanathil Bhootham

After completing her new film 'Benaras’, Kavya is now acting in her last film 'EE Pattanathil Bhootham'. The movie scripted by Udhay Krisshna - Sibi K Thomas team will be directed by one of their best friends in the industry - Johnny Antony.

Bhootham, will be a humorous fantasy thriller, tells the story of Jimmy, an adventure bike rider in a circus, who accidentally gets some supernatural powers, with which he tries to fight the baddies of society. Reports say that Mammootty will attempt some daredevil acts of a bike racer in this film.

For the first time in her career, Kavya Madhavan is doing the heroine role opposite Mammootty in Ee Pattanathil Bhootham which is her last film, since she married with Mr. Nischal Chandran on Feb 05, 2009, a computer engineer working in National Bank of Kuwait as Technical adviser.

 

Also in the 'Ee Pattanathil Bhootham' cast are Jagathy Sreekumar, Innocent, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Salim Kumar and others. Ee Pattanathil Bhootham is expected to grace the theatres during Vishu, 2009. After Love in Bangkok, Mammootty will also complete the final portions of director Hariharan's Pazhassi Raja, a magnum opus historical film about Kerala Varma Pazhassi Raja.

New York, Feb 19 : Forbes has listed Aishwarya Rai as India's most bankable star in Hollywood, pushing down the Khans of Bollywood in the ratings of the best bet for a film's financial success.



Aishwarya is among six Bollywood actors in the new Forbes list of Hollywood's Most Valuable Actors. Other Indians on the list compiled by the American business magazine are Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Irrfan Khan and Hrithik Roshan.

Although at 387th position in the global list of as many as 1,411 actors from across the world, Aishwarya is ranked highest among all Indian actors and is the only female actor from the country who made it to this elite club.

The list also includes Indian American actor Kal Penn, whose films include "The Namesake". At 476th position, he is ranked higher than all the Bollywood actors, except Aishwarya Rai, who stars in the new Hollywood venture "The Pink Panther 2".

Among the male Bollywood actors, Aamir is ranked highest at 540th in the global list, followed by Shah Rukh (735), Salman (753), Irrfan (825) and Hrithik (1,059).

The global list, topped by Hollywood actor Will Smith, is based on the bankability of actors around the world as voted by members of the global entertainment industry, Forbes said.

Smith is the only actor to get a ten-on-ten score and is followed by four Hollywood stars - Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio and Angelina Jolie - sharing the second position.

These are followed by Tom Hanks, George Clooney, Denzel Washington, Matt Damon and Jack Nicholson in the top 10.

After a gap of 10 years, the small cute looking girl who wowed the audiences in Malayalam & Tamil moveis, is coming back this time as a heroine.

Baby Shamili made an amazing portrayal in ace filmmaker Mani Rathnam’s Anjali as a mentally-challenged child for which she won the prestigious National Award in 1991 at age three. She was last seen in Malayalam with Mammootty and Mohanlal in Fazil’s Harikrishnans (1998), where she played the younger sister of the superstar.



Her parents wanted her to complete her studies first and now that she is ready to put on the pancake, producers are lining up at her house.

But being very selective she is acting only in Fazil directed malayalam film. Her sister Shalini had her share of fame and glory. Now she is wife of Tamil Super Star Ajith. Looks like it`s Shamili`s time to impress us.

Shamili will be acting in Shikari starring superstar Mohanlal in the lead. she will play the role of Mohanlal’s s daughter in this film, to be directed by Padmakumar after Parunthu. She signed for another Telugu movie starring Siddharth in the lead.
