In spite of her cherubic looks and good potential, actress Bhavana is still running out of offers. Although, the young actress had openly conveyed the message that she’s ready to don glamorous roles, nothing seems to have clicked for her.
Now, she has mounted all her hopes on Ajith Kumar starrer “ASAL’ slated to hit screens on February 5.
Recently, there were rumors that the film features Bhavana as Ajith’s sister while Bollywood actress Sameera Reddy has got more prominence. Apparently, the actress denies the rumor saying that she plays Ajith’s ladylove and has got couple of songs with him as well.
Bhavana also admits that though she had turned down many Bollywood offers but assures that she’ll make her debut shortly.

Finally Kavya Madhavan is going back to be under the arc lights after her disastrous marriage.
Kavya who had been living with her parents in Kochi after four months of married life had joined the unit of Papi Appacha on December 23rd in Thodupuzha.
Kavya is playing heroine to her all time favourite hero Dileep once again in Papi Appacha. The film is produced by Dileep's brother Anoop under a new banner Priyanjali, with Vyasan Edavanakad as executive producer. It’s directed by debutante director, Mamas Chandran.
The film is set in a Christian milieu and features Innocent as Dileep’s father. The others in the cast are Suresh Krishna, Rajeev and a new comedian Dharmarajan (Bluff Master) is being introduced.
The buzz is that the old Adoor Bhasi song in a toddy shop Pappi Appacha… from which the film has got its title will be remixed by music director Vidyasagar, who has already recorded four songs for the film.

Actress Navya Nair to wed on January 21
Recently, actress Navya Nair was engaged to Santhosh Menon from Changancherry, who was working as a vice-president of an advertising company in Mumbai. Their parents nearly took a month to fix the marriage date and arranged the ceremony on January 21.
The family members have planned to host the marriage around 9 AM at Chepadu in Azhapuzha in a traditional Kerala style. A grand reception will be held on the same evening at Changancherry where with who’s who of Malayalam film industry taking part in it.
Navya Nair made her debut in Tamil cinema with “Azhagiya Theeye’ and gained appreciations for the extraordinary performances in Chidambarathil Oru Appasami, Pasa Kizhigal, Amirtham, Maya Kannadi and Raman Thediya Seethai.

Sexy Mamta Mohandas is back to work. (She had taken some time off for a throat surgery.) She plays the lead role in Nirakazcha - a story about a model who falls in love with an Italian painter who comes on holiday to the backwaters of Kerala.
The film is written and directed by debut director Aneesh for Global Moviemakers. Mamta is cast opposite Vinsan Sobacherli, an Italian actor. The film has music by M Jayachandran, while camera is by M G Radhakrishnan.
Manoj K Jayan plays an important role as a chendakaran (drummer) in the film, which also has Thilakan, Nedumudi Venu, Jagathy and Suraj Venjaranmoodu.
"Nirakazcha talks about Kerala's traditions, rich culture, arts, beautiful lush green locales and the way tourism is becoming the biggest industry in the state," says Aneesh.

And now the director has fixed upon Suresh Gopi, the hero of his previous movie ‘Detective’, to play the role earlier earmarked for Mohanlal.
‘Mummy & Me’ will also have Archana Kavi and Urvashi teaming up along with Mukesh and Kunchacko Boban.

Actor Mohanlal is going through treatment to change his looks. He is going through treatment at the Gurukripa Heritage Ayurvedic centre in Kuttanad, near Pattambi for two weeks. The treatment reduces ageing greatly. The centre has special packages which make people look younger and reduces wrinkles and muscle weakness.
