According to police, Rajmohan Unnithan and the lady hailing from Kollam were withheld by locals at 10:30 pm yesterday night. The lady has been identified as Jeyalakahsmi of Kollam. Manjeri police who arrived at the scene detained both of them and took them to Manjeri hospital for medical examination after which they were taken to police station. A case for immoral traffic has been registered against Ashraf, a native of Manjeri, who took the house for rent.
CPM supporters who gathered outside the Manjeri Police station shouted slogans and demanded the arrest of Rajmohan Unnithan.

Rajmohan Unnithan, Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee leader has been caught from a rented house in Manjeri near Malappuram along with a lady for immoral trafficking. A case for immoral trafficking has been registered against the Congress leader by the Manjeri Police.
