Suriya might be anxious right now to know the reports of his debut film Rakta Charitra 2 in Bollywood. But, no one is aware that before signing on this film, Suriya was to make his debut with the Hindi remake of his own super hit film Khaka Khaka.
The film is now being made by Vipul Shah and Suriya’s character is being played by John Abraham.
Our source said, “Suriya was supposed to make his debut in Bollywood with the Hindi remake of Khaka Khaka which was to be directed by the original director Gautam Menon. However, the rights of the film were bought by Vipul Shah and Gautam Menon got busy in Tollywood. Vipul finalised John for the film and the shooting is already half-way through.
However Suriya is now planning a film to launch himself in Bollywood. The film might be directed by Puri Jagannath and will serve as Suriya’s official debut in Bollywood.”
A source close to the actor confirmed the news, “Suriya had met John at the latter’s residence and they clicked immediately. Another film of Suriya’s — Singham — is being remade with Ajay Devgn. Suriya and Puri are planning a full on action flick that will be made next year.” Let’s hope he makes it big in B-town.
